Let's talk about the colour beige, it's hot for 2024!

We would like to say that you heard it here first but it’s been popping up in our feeds that a new colour trend is emerging - beige and it’s had a little bit of a rebrand and is making a comeback! If we are honest with you, it never stopped being a favourite of ours or our customers, we’ve always appreciated its warmth and classic, timeless appeal but the trend forecasters have given it the thumbs up for homes this year.

Don’t get us wrong we love grey and grey interiors are still popular,  we have all been enjoying decorating our homes with shades of grey for over 10 years. We are huge fans of a grey flagstone, our Lanesborough flagstone is a muted grey limestone of varying tones, both subtle and elegant. Or there’s the Salisbury which has a slightly textured finish to the surface, adding to the vintage feel of the stone. These are just a few of our grey flagstones, there are more but for now, let’s focus on what has been considered as ‘boring beige’ because it’s fighting back and we are here for it!

Often associated with magnolia paint, beige and other more yellowy-based neutrals are gaining popularity. Speak to an interior designer or colour expert and you’ll discover that alongside earthy colours such as brown and caramel, beige is back! Let your mind wander and pair it alongside delicate pinks and warming peaches and your room is suddenly a warm, inviting, calm space to enjoy.

Our interior flagstones are perfect to add to the ‘beige is back’ party. Let’s start with The Granary flagstone because it’s on offer so don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy 30% off and be on trend! It lends itself to new and old homes, bringing character, style and a great finish. There’s also the Cotswold, a beautiful light honeyed colour flagstone and The Clifton, with its mellow cream tones, subtle but strikingly elegant. There are more too, after all, we specialise in supplying timeless and traditional, stylish and contemporary flagstones and oak flooring. Why not explore our full range of interior flagstones. If you are looking for a wood floor, we offer engineered oak in both single and multi widths and there’s no denying that oak delivers an earthy tone to a home.

Back to the 2024 beige vibe though. Your floor is the backbone of a room, we all like to ring the changes with new paint and soft furnishings but usually choose to keep the flooring. Our flagstones and oak flooring are an investment that will stand the test of time, bringing longevity and timelessness to a room. Our team understand the importance of making the right decision so we offer a Free Sample Service and the team is always at the end of the phone or an email if you fancy a chat. Getting it right means you can forget about it and enjoy the trends as they come and go, knowing your flooring will always meet the brief!

So where do you go for the paint, there’s so much choice but we have recently been enjoying browsing the luxury neutral paints on the  Little Greene website. They have the classics but also new takes on neutrals. Coat also caught our eye, with playful names like Duvet Day (hard to imagine why this caught the team's eye) and Well Grounded!

The options for soft furnishings and furniture are also endless, Cox & Cox seem to have read the memo with their new season of online stock and you can’t miss the earthy tones in the Zara Home Spring 24 Editorial.

Whatever you choose to add to your room we hope we have inspired you to invest in the right flooring so you can let the trends come and go, confident that your choice of flooring will always compliment whatever you choose.
