With last week's announcement of Viva Magenta being chosen as the Pantone Colour of the Year for 2023, it’s got us thinking all about colour and all of the wonderful colour combinations we have seen over the years paired with our unique and stylish flagstones.

Our stone is a great option for many interior schemes - simply down to the fact that our stone is made up from natural, earthy colours which are really versatile and easy to match with a whole host of different colours. 

Whether you love bright and bold, or more neutral and subtle interiors, we have seen plenty of combinations and have selected some to share with you in this blog, all in the name of inspiration. 

Old Farmhouse Green - Dark Blues

Redgate House, by Border Oak is a great representation of a bold, darker colour palette. The dark blue cabinets in this stunning kitchen compliment our Old Farmhouse Green flagstones tremendously. Many people may think to steer away from having dark cabinets paired with a darker looking floor - but it really works here, wouldn't you agree? Old Oast House - Earthy Greens

Our Old Oast House stone is very warm and homely, with oatmeal colours throughout, featuring natural shelling. It has the feel of the country and adds charm and character to any room. We love how our customer has created an organic palette in their kitchen, pairing with earthy greens and natural wood throughout, along with light, bright walls to give a light and airy feel. 

 

Provence Stone - Bold and Bright

Using furniture and soft furnishings is a great way to introduce colours into your interior palette and we absolutely love how this customer has injected colour into their home through their furniture. We think that the bold mustard yellow sofa compliments our Provence stone perfectly. 

Clifton Stone - Light and Airy 

Our Clifton stone is a subtle, yet strikingly elegant stone, making it a great choice for both new and older homes. This customer has created a really light and airy feel to their home, pairing our stone with light coloured walls and very minimal splashes of colour through their grey runner on the staircase and wooden beams, creating a really bright space.
