Case Study - Fig Tree Farm

Published:

We recently teamed up with Jess at Fig Tree Farm. Jess and her family moved into their dream period home in Devon last Autumn and the home itself was in need of a little modernisation throughout.

A big part of any renovation project is of course the flooring and at Whitehall, we are thrilled to have been able to help Jess and her family in choosing the perfect stone for their new home. We sent Jess some samples of our flooring, which led to them choosing the Old Parlour flagstone. This stone is warm looking and has the feel and look of an old flagstone that has been worn completely smooth over time. The edges are hand chipped and then tumbled, to add to the distinctive aged appearance of the tile. Visually this is a very original looking stone that is subtle in appearance and sits comfortably in both new and old homes, making it a great option for a range of projects.

The family have used our stone in various rooms throughout the home - including their snug, hallway and the utility space. From the moment we saw the interior moodboard that Jess created, showcasing our Old Parlour stone alongside a selection of other dreamy interiors, we knew the final look was going to be great. We think that the neutral, earthy tones throughout look great, and we hope you do too.
