4. Change the lighting

Lighting is not often the first thing that comes to mind when giving your space a freshen-up, but it is a really important factor. From a practical point of view, having bright lighting in certain areas is key for you to see things better. We love how this customer has used spotlights above the kitchen surfaces, and a skylight above the seating areas, where the most lighting is needed.
