With Christmas just around the corner and another year drawing to a close we’ve been reflecting on a busy 2021 at Whitehall Flagstones and thought we would share some of our highlights.

Our Customers 

We’ve helped our customers to create beautiful kitchens, stunning sitting rooms, luxurious bathrooms, welcoming hallways and practical utility rooms. Seeing our flagstones form an integral part of our customers' homes has been so rewarding.

Flagstone flooring is a part of your home that is timeless and as your house evolves it remains a constant that compliments trends and colour changes. A new floor is always an investment but as most of us look to do it once it really is worth investing in a high quality natural product. Our flagstones come in random lengths and are hand finished with care, making them easy to maintain and they will last you a lifetime. 

This home has the Old Farmhouse Green Flagstones with sawn and tumbled edges flowing through their ground floor. The sharper edges give a more contemporary feel to your home.

As our homes have become more important than ever in the past few years, a noticeable trend that looks set to stay is extending the indoor living area to the outdoors, connecting us with nature and bringing a flow of fresh air indoors. The variety of natural stone tiles available make it easy to find one that will suit your space and the variations in texture will bring their own individuality to your patio.  These materials have a natural slip resistance and the various sizes allow you to lay in more traditional patterns or for a more contemporary look, opt for a single size. With a range of outdoor flagstones that include beige, brown, green and grey we have a stone that will help you create that visual harmony between your indoor and outdoor spaces. 

Challenging Times 

Not something that automatically springs to mind as a highlight but like so many we have had to adapt our business to meet the Covid-19 pandemic, introducing mask wearing, social distancing and hand sanitising. Our team has responded with grit and determination, ensuring that we have been able to remain open and that our customers have continued to receive a high quality service. Negotiating delayed materials and inevitable delays our customers have been both understanding and supportive and made a difficult time, a highlight for us.

Showtime

We have loved being on the road this year and being part of the Home Build and Renovation show at the NEC, London Excel and Harrogate, we also attended Grand Designs Live at the NEC. The team just loved showing off our flagstones and helping customers to achieve their desired goals when building or renovating their property. We appreciate that it’s a big decision and how much of an integral part of the build the flooring is so there were lots of conversations and samples taken.

In fact we loved it so much we are off to Farnborough Homebuilding & Renovating Show on the 15th - 16th January 2022 and there will be more and you can sign up to our newsletter to be kept up to date on when and where you can meet the team. 

Visits & Samples

Our team and samples have been flying out the door. We think it's important to send samples and we also like to visit where possible. It’s been great to engage with our customers both in person and over the phone as it helps us to understand their requirements and provide the best possible advice for their individual needs.

Ordering a sample is easy and we follow up with a call a few days later to discuss your thoughts and answer any questions you may have.

We have a team across the country who are able to visit anyone who is considering a job over 50 square metres and they have been doing just that this year. It can make all the difference, especially if you are building or renovating and need advice on what might best suit your property.

As we look forward to a break over Christmas we also look forward to 2022, a year we feel sure will be full of more stunning flagstone floors that create the backbone of the beautiful interiors our customers create.
