A Spotlight on Shucknall Court: Case Study
Published:

Recently we had the pleasure of taking a look around the delightful Shucknall Court. Situated in the heart of the Herefordshire countryside, this newly renovated exclusive-use luxury country farmhouse really is dream-worthy.
Over the last couple of years, the owners of Shucknall Court have been busy transforming what was a tired and worn property into the perfect country escape. As part of their renovation process, they decided to place our wonderful Old Oast House stone throughout areas of the ground floor, and it certainly was the right choice!
The Kitchen
Old Oast House stone is a stunning oatmeal colour which gives this kitchen a warm and homely feel. These stones also have natural shelling meaning each stone is slightly different, creating a unique and interesting appearance.
This large stone work fantastically in this open kitchen to give it a grand and sophisticated final look. You can read more about how stone tiles can make your home feel and look bigger over on our blog section.
Boot Room
The owners loved our Old Oast House stone so much that they also decided to lay it in this gorgeous boot room. Its textured surface gives this area a rustic look and feel, which fits in wonderfully with this farmhouse-style home.
The white grout also gives the illusion of a seamless flow, and adds character and charm to this property. If you are unsure on which is the right grout option for your own flooring, you can take a look at one of our recent blogs that will give you some guidance here.
