Are you thinking about investing in new flooring for your home? We would assume the answer to that question is yes as you are reading this blog! At Whitehall, we always recommend picking up some samples before you take the plunge. Here’s whOrdering a sample allows you to see the stone with your own eyes, in your own home. In some photographs of our stone, particularly the Old Farmhouse Green, the mixture of different angles, lighting and camera quality can make it difficult to determine the exact colour of the stone. 

You’ll also be able to feel the textures which will give you a really good idea of the feel that our flooring can bring to your home. If you are looking for a flooring with lots of texture, a flagstone such as our Old Rectory or Old Tuscany could be a great option for you. Flagstones are split using old traditional methods which results in a riven texture, due to the stone being split along its natural seams, offering a charmful and rustic feel to any home. 

If you are looking for a sleeker, more modern looking stone with a smoother finish, our Provence or Clifton stone may be a great option for you. Take a look at the different types of stone we offer here.
