Country doors have always been adorned with hand forged iron door furniture. Originally made down at the local blacksmiths the metal is heated before being worked with a hammer ,to produce an extremely unique, hand made product. The method we employ today is exactly the same, and once finished the item is dipped in a hot wax to enhance and protect the metal.
